If you thought the .50 BMG was big then check this out. (Back row from left to right) 40mm Anti Aircraft, 37mm Anti Aircraft, 23mm and then the .50 BMG. This round is a .22-250. It is somewhat rare and expensive. Usually used for medium game and small game. It is a little more powerful than a .223 Rem but you would want to buy a .223 over a .22-250 any day! The rounds are cheaper and they are easier to find. The only thing that makes a .22-250 special is it is extremly high velocity!! This bullet is propeled at over 4100 FPS, almost a whole kilometer a second! If you take varmit hunting seriously you could consider this type of rifle.
